Marc is more than a co-owner and office manager of ANM Health—he’s the bridge between the military and first responder communities and the mental health services they deserve. As a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former detention officer, Marc brings firsthand understanding of the culture, challenges, and resilience it takes to serve.

Marc served proudly in the United States Marine Corps, where he learned the values of discipline, teamwork, and integrity that continue to shape his work today. His military background gives him a unique perspective on the invisible wounds of service, from the transition to civilian life to navigating the VA system.

​

After his military career, Marc served as a detention officer for six years. He knows the stress, long hours, and emotional toll that come with protecting and serving the community—along with the need for trusted, discreet mental health support.

As Veteran Liaison, Marc:

 

• Connects veterans, law enforcement, and first responders to the right mental health resources​

• Ensures ANM Health’s services remain culturally competent and mission-focused

• Advocates for those who may be hesitant to seek help, breaking down stigma and barriers to care

​

At ANM Health, Marc partners with his wife, Ashleigh McDonnell, MSN, PMHNP-BC, to create a safe space for service members and their families. Together, they combine clinical expertise with lived experience, offering a team that understands the realities of service life—because they’ve lived it.
