ADHD Evaluation Process

We take a structured and thorough approach to ensure each ADHD evaluation is accurate, comprehensive, and tailored to your individual needs.

Step 1 – Initial Psychiatric Evaluation (60 minutes)

(Covered by insurance or billed at our standard cash rate)

Your first appointment is a comprehensive evaluation where we review your personal history, current concerns, and treatment goals. This helps establish a clear starting point for your care.

If your provider identifies ADHD as a possible concern, you will be scheduled to complete the QbCheck ADHD Test.

Step 2 – QbCheck ADHD Test (20–30 minutes)

(Not covered by insurance – $150, charged at the time of booking)

The QbCheck test is completed at home and provides objective data about your attention, activity level, and impulsivity. These results help us better understand your unique attention profile and guide diagnostic accuracy.

Requires a computer with a webcam. Tablets and phones cannot be utilized for testing.

Step 3 – Diagnostic Interview for ADHD (30–60 minutes)

(Covered by insurance or billed at our standard cash rate)

During this follow-up appointment, we review your QbCheck results, discuss your symptoms in more detail, and confirm whether diagnostic criteria for ADHD are met. Together, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan to support your goals.

Ongoing Care – Follow-Up Appointments (20–30 minutes)

(Covered by insurance or billed at our standard cash rate)

Once a diagnosis and treatment plan are in place, we’ll schedule regular follow-ups—typically every 2–4 weeks initially, then monthly as stable. These visits focus on medication management, therapy, and ongoing progress monitoring.

Please note: If controlled medications are prescribed, ANM Health requires at least one in-person appointment every six (6) months for compliance and safety monitoring.
