Meet Kwesi

​​I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of experience in the mental health field, ranging from child and adult crisis inpatient care to community mental health stabilization and substance abuse treatment. My background also includes working in correctional psychiatry, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities, and providing care for individuals with eating disorders.

My focus is on treating mood disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, substance use, and chronic mental illness through comprehensive psychiatric assessment and medication management. I believe in creating individualized care plans that emphasize client involvement, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based practice. My goal is to empower clients to actively engage in their treatment through supportive education within a stigma-free environment.

Kwesi is in network with Aetna, BCBS, United Healthcare/Optum, and Cigna. He is based out of our Phoenix location and offers virtual appointments.
